[Under Construction]

Welcome:

With a dedication to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, we are proud of our past and committed to our future, to our customers, and to our community.  We are grateful that you took the time to visit our website, thank you.  We look forward to the privilege of serving you.

Brief History:

Founded in an old blacksmith shop on the corner of Mendenhall and Rouse, Midwest Welding & Machine has been serving the region since 1944.  In 1987, we changed our name to Midwest Industries to reflect our expanding range of services and markets.  By 2006, we’d grown to over 60 employees in 3 different lines of business – retail store, welding & machine job shop, and structural steel fabrication operation – and we were bursting at the seams.  Through the significant growth, we lost our family feel and focus, so we decided to downsize and refocus on our core welding & machine shop.  In late 2006, we returned to our original name – Midwest Welding & Machine – and sold the retail store to Valley Welders Supply and the structural steel operations to two former senior leaders who now operate their business as Midwest Steel Industries.

Our Objective:

Our objective is to help our customers achieve their goals -- whether this means repairing a broken heirloom, fabricating a handrail or a custom sign for their new residence or business, fixing broken equipment critical to their business, or machining parts for their products.  Our heritage stems from a relentless commitment to quality and customer service, as well as strategic investments in equipment and processes.  These principles and practices have allowed us to provide the best possible value to our customers.  We have the people, the experience and the expertise to get the job done right!
