Our fearless leader has grown wings.

Chuck Westlake, who bought a black smith/machine shop back in 1969 and built Midwest Welding & Machine has found a new calling and has decided to retire.  He bids us on to continue his legacy.  He has been our commander and chief.  We are all happy for him and sad to see him leave.  Our Christmas parties will never be the same.  Chuck has had a colorful life.  He is an inactive Marine and during part of his tour of duty was a drill instructor.  When I first heard this it gave me pause wondering what it would be like to work for a Marine drill instructor but he has been inspiration to all of us and steady driving force in the company.  His commanding presence was always felt and we hope not to disappoint him as we continue on without him.
